Jami' at-Tirmidhi — Hadith #29306

Ibn Abi Umar narrated to us, Sufyan narrated to us, on the authority of Ali bin Zayd bin Jad’an, on the authority of Abu Nadra, on the authority of Abu Sa’id, he said: The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: “I am the master of the children of Adam on the Day of Resurrection, and there will be no pride, and in my hand is a banner of praise, and there will be no pride, and there will be no prophet on that day.” Adam, so who else? Except under my banner, and I will be the first for whom the earth will open, and there will be no pride. He said: Then the people will panic three times, then they will go to Adam and say: You? Our father Adam, so intercede on our behalf with your Lord. Then he says, “Indeed, I committed a sin from which I was brought down to the earth.” But, “Come to Noah.” So they go to Noah. So he says, “Indeed, I summoned upon the people of the earth a supplication, and they were destroyed, but go to Abraham.” So they will come to Abraham, and he will say, “Indeed, I have lied” three times. “Lies.” Then the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said, “There is no lie in it that does not deviate from the religion of God. But go to Moses.” Then they will come to Moses, and he will say, “Indeed, I have killed a person, but go to Jesus.” Then they will come to Jesus, and he will say, “I was worshiped instead of God, but go to Muhammad.” He said. Then they will come to me and I will go with them.” Ibn Jud’an said, “Anas said, ‘It is as if I am looking at the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace.’ He said.” So I take the ring of the gate of Paradise and knock on it, and it is said, “Who is this?” and it is said, “Muhammad.” Then they open for me and welcome, and they say, “Welcome,” so I continue. I prostrate, and God inspires me with praise and praise, and it is said to me: Raise your head, ask and you will be given, and intercede and you will be granted intercession, and say, your speech will be heard, and this is the place of standing. The Praiseworthy is the one whom God said: (Perhaps your Lord will raise you to a place of praise.) Sufyan said: There is nothing on the authority of Anas except this word. “So I will take the ring of the gate of Paradise and knock on it.” Abu Issa said: This is a good hadith.
