Ibn Abi Umar narrated to us, Sufyan narrated to us, on the authority of Mis’ar, on the authority of Asim bin Abi Al-Najjud, on the authority of Zirr bin Hubaysh, he said: I said to Hudhayfah bin Al-Yaman The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, prayed in the Holy House. He said, “No.” I said, “Yes.” He said, “You say that, O bald man.” Why do you say that? I said By the Qur’an, between me and you is the Qur’an. So Hudhayfah said, “Whoever uses the Qur’an as evidence has succeeded.” Sufyan said, “He has used the Qur’an as evidence.” And perhaps he said He entered and said: (Glory be to Him who took His servant by night from the Sacred Mosque to the Aqsa Mosque.) He said: Did he imagine that he had prayed? On it, I said, “No.” He said, “If he had prayed on it, it would have been prescribed for you to pray there just as it was prescribed for you to pray at the Sacred Mosque.” Hudhayfah said, “The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, came.” May God bless him and grant him peace with an animal with a long back stretched out in such a way as his stride extended as far as his sight, and they did not remove the back of the sparkling until they saw Paradise. And the Fire and the promise of the Hereafter, all together. Then they returned to their beginning. He said, “And they say that he bound him, and he did not flee from it, but rather he subjugated him.” To Him is the Knower of the unseen and the witnessed. Abu Issa said: This is a good and authentic hadith.
