Ja`far bin Muhammad bin Imran al-Thaalabi al-Kufi told us, Zayd bin Hubab told us, on the authority of Malik bin Mughal, on the authority of Abdullah bin Buraydah. Al-Aslami, on the authority of his father, said that the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, heard a man praying and saying, “O God, I ask you because I bear witness that you You are God, there is no god but You, the One, the Eternal, the One who begot and was not begotten, and there is no one equal to Him. He said, “By the One in Whose Hand is my soul. “He asked God by His greatest name, which when called upon, He answered, and when asked by it, He gave.” Zaid said, “So I mentioned it to Zuhayr bin Muawiyah, years later, said: Abu Ishaq told me on the authority of Malik bin Mughal. Zaid said: Then I mentioned it to Sufyan al-Thawri. So he told me on the authority of Malik. Abu Issa said: This is a good and strange hadith. A partner narrated this hadith on the authority of Abu Ishaq, on the authority of Ibn Buraidah. On the authority of his father Abu Ishaq Al-Hamdani only took it on the authority of Malik ibn Mughal, but he fabricated it. Sharik narrated this hadith on the authority of Abu Ishaq. .
