Jami' at-Tirmidhi — Hadith #29694

Ahmad bin Abdah al-Dhabi told us, Hammad bin Zaid told us, on the authority of Asim, on the authority of Zirr bin Hubaysh, he said, I came to Safwan bin Assal al-Muradi. He said, “So I said, ‘Have you memorized anything from the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, about passion?’ He said, ‘Yes, we were with the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, on some of his travels,’ and a man called him.” There was a Bedouin, at the back of the people, in a loud, harsh, harsh voice. He said, “O Muhammad, O Muhammad.” Then the people said to him, “Mah.” You have been forbidden from doing this. So the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, answered him with a voice similar to Ha’um. He said, “The man loves the people when he joins them.” So the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said, “A person is with the one he loves.” Zirr said, and he continued to talk to me until he told me that God He made in the West a gate whose breadth is a seventy-year journey for repentance, which will not be closed until the sun rises from it.
