Hadith #30103
Ahmad bin Mani` told us, he said, Yazid bin Harun told us, he said: Ayoub told me, on the authority of Sa`id al-Maqbari, on the authority of Abu Hurairah, that A Bedouin, he gave the Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, a morning gift, and he gave him six of it in return. He was displeased with it, and this reached the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him. He thanked God and praised Him, then said, “So-and-so gave me a camel as a gift, and I compensated him with six camels of it, but he remained displeased, and I was determined not to.” Accept a gift except from a Qurayshi, Ansari, Thaqafi, or Dawsi.” And in the hadith there are more words than this. This is a hadith. It was narrated in more than one way on the authority of Abu Hurairah, and Yazid bin Harun narrated on the authority of Ayyub Abi Al-Ala, and he is Ayyub ibn Miskin, and it is said that Ibn My father is poor. Perhaps this hadith that was narrated on the authority of Ayoub on the authority of Saeed Al-Maqbari is Ayoub Abu Al-Ala.
