Hadith #47050
Suleiman bin Harb narrated to us, he said: Hammad bin Zaid narrated to us, on the authority of Al-Saq’ab bin Zuhayr, on the authority of Zayd bin Aslam, he said: I do not know him except on the authority of Ata’ bin Yassar, on the authority of Abdullah bin Amr, said: We were sitting with the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, when a man from the desert came. He was wearing the robe of a sword, until he stood on the head of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, and said: Your companion has put on every knight, or he said: He wants to put on every knight. And every shepherd rises, so the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, took the robes of his cloak and said: Do I not see on you the clothing of one who has no sense? Then he said: When death approached, the Prophet of God, Noah, may God bless him and grant him peace, said to his son: I will narrate to you a commandment. I command you to do two things, and he forbade you. On the authority of two things: I command you: There is no god but Allah, for the seven heavens and the seven earths, if they were placed on one hand And I placed La ilaha illa Allah on a scale that would overwhelm them, and if the seven heavens and the seven earths were an incomprehensible ring, it would cut them apart. There is no god but Allah. God, and glory be to God and praise be to Him, for it is the prayer for everything, and by it everything is provided, and He forbids polytheism. And arrogance, so I said, or it was said: O Messenger of God, this polytheism we have known, so what is arrogance? Is it for one of us to have a suit to wear? He said: No. He said: So is it for one of us to have two good sandals, with two good partners? He said: No. He said: It is for one of us to have An animal that he rides? He said: No. He said: Is it so that one of us has companions to sit with? He said: No. He said: O Messenger of God, so what? Arrogance? He said: He makes the truth foolish and deceives people.
