Jami' at-Tirmidhi — Hadith #26305

Ibn Abi Omar and Sa’id bin Abdul Rahman Al-Makhzoumi told us, saying: Sufyan bin Uyaynah told us, on the authority of Al-Zuhri, on the authority of Sa’id bin Al-Musayyab, On the authority of Abu Hurairah, he said: A Bedouin entered the mosque and the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, was sitting. Then the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, turned to him and said, “You have become quite petrified.” He soon urinated in The people rushed to the mosque, and the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, said, “Throw a log of water or a bucket of water over it.” Then he said, “You were sent as facilitators, and you were not sent as facilitators.”
