Hadith #26363
We talked about Mahmud ibn Ghaylānah, we talked about Wakīyah, about Sufiyān, about the Immortal Shoe, about my father Qalābah, about your owner ibn al-Huwayrīth, I came to the Messenger of Allah, may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him, I am a cousin of mine, and he said to us, "When I travelled, I became a resident and told your eldest companions." Abu Issa said: This is a good and authentic hadith. It is acted upon according to most of the people of knowledge. They chose the call to prayer when traveling. Some of them said: The Iqama is sufficient, but the call to prayer is for the one who wants to gather the people. The first saying is more correct. This is what Ahmad and Ishaq say.
