Jami' at-Tirmidhi — Hadith #27269

This is acted upon according to the people of Knowledge from the Companions of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, and others, is that it is not permissible for a slave to marry without his master’s permission. This is the view of Ahmad and Ishaq. And others, without a difference.
