Jami' at-Tirmidhi — Hadith #27405

Al-Layth bin Saad told us about that, on the authority of Ibn Ajlan, on the authority of Amr bin Shuaib, on the authority of his father, on the authority of his grandfather, The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: “A sale for an option is as long as they do not separate, unless it is an option deal, and it is not permissible for him to separate.” His owner for fear that he would resign him.” Abu Issa said, “This is a good hadith.” What this means is that he would leave him after the sale for fear that He would resign from it, even if the division had been verbal and he had no choice after the sale, this hadith would not have had any meaning, as he, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, said: “Nor It is permissible for him to separate from him for fear that he will resign.”
