Jami' at-Tirmidhi — Hadith #28157

Muhammad bin Al-Muthanna and Abdullah bin Abdul Rahman narrated to us, saying: Yahya bin Hammad narrated to us, Shu’bah narrated to us, on the authority of Aban bin Taghlib, on the authority of Fudayl ibn Amr, on the authority of Ibrahim, on the authority of Alqamah, on the authority of Abdullah, on the authority of the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, who said, “No one will enter Paradise who is In his heart is an atom’s weight of pride, and he will not enter Hell. I mean, he who has in his heart an atom’s weight of faith.” He said, and a man said to him. I like that my clothes are beautiful and my shoes are beautiful. He said, “God loves beauty, but arrogance is that which suppresses the truth and obscures it.” people. “Abu Issa said, ‘This is a good, authentic, and strange hadith.’ Some of the people of knowledge said in interpreting this hadith, ‘It does not include Hell is the one who has an atom’s weight of faith in his heart. “But its meaning is that he will not abide forever in Hell. This is how it was narrated on the authority of Abu Sa’id al-Khudri, on the authority of The Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, said, “Out of Hell will emerge he who has an atom’s weight of faith in his heart.” More than one of the followers explained this. Verse: (Our Lord, you are the one whom You admit to the Fire. You have disgraced him.) He said, “Whoever you will remain in the Fire forever, you have disgraced him.” He said: Abu Issa, this is a good, authentic, and strange hadith.
