Jami' at-Tirmidhi — Hadith #28411

Muhammad bin Bashar narrated to us, Muadh bin Hisham narrated to us, my father narrated to us, on the authority of Qatada, on the authority of Al-Sha’bi, on the authority of Fatima bint Qais, that the Prophet of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, prayed May God bless him and grant him peace. He ascended the pulpit and laughed and said, “Indeed, Tamim al-Dari told me a hadith, and I was happy, so I loved to talk to you.” He told me that some people from Palestine boarded a ship at sea and it sailed with them until it threw them onto an island in the sea. Then, behold, They saw a clothed animal with its hair spread out. They said, “Are you not?” She said, “I am the spy.” They said, “Then tell us.” She said, “I will not tell you, nor will I.” I ask you to inform you, but go to the farthest part of the town, for then there is someone who will inform you and ask you to inform you. So we came to the farthest part of the town, and behold, a man Bound with a chain. He said, “Tell me about Ain Zughar.” We said, “Full of flow.” He said, “Tell me about the lake.” We said, “Full of flow.” He said. Tell me about the palm trees of Baysan, which is between the Jordan and Palestine. Were they fed? We said yes. He said, Tell me about the Prophet. Was he sent? We said yes. He said, “Inform me about how the people came to him.” We said, “They rushed to him.” He said, “He moved on a whim, almost to the point.” We said, “What are you?” He said, “He is the Antichrist.” And it enters all the lands except Taybah, and Taybah of Medina.” Abu Issa said, “And this is an authentic, strange hadith from the hadith of Qatada.” On the authority of Al-Sha’bi, and more than one person narrated it, on the authority of Al-Sha’bi, on the authority of Fatima bint Qais.
