Hadith #29064
Abd bin Humaid told us, he said, Husayn bin Ali Al-Jafi told us, he said, I heard Hamza Al-Zayat, on the authority of Abu Al-Mukhtar Al-Tai, on the authority of my nephew Al-Harith Al-A'war, on the authority of Al-Harith, he said: I passed through the mosque and people were engaged in conversations, so I entered upon Ali and said, Commander of the Faithful, do you not see that people have delved into hadiths? He said, “And they did it.” I said, “Yes.” He said, “As for me, I heard the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace.” He said, “It will be a trial.” So I said, “What is the way out of it, O Messenger of God?” He said, “The Book of God is in it.” The news of what happened before you, the news of what came after you, and the judgment of what is between you is the decisive factor, and it is not a joke. Whoever seeks guidance in other than that, God has led him astray, and it is the solid rope of God, and it is the Wise Reminder, and it is the straight path, and it is the one from which you do not deviate. desires, and tongues do not become confused by it, nor do scholars get satisfied with it, nor is he created to respond frequently, nor do his wonders end. He is the One who did not The jinn were dismayed when they heard it until they said (Indeed, we have heard a wondrous Qur’an * that guides to right path, so we believe in it.) Whoever says it is true, and whoever does it There is reward for it, and whoever rules by it is just, and whoever is called to it will be guided to a straight path. “Take it to you, O one-eyed man.” Abu Issa said this. A strange hadith that we do not know except from the hadith of Hamza al-Zayyat, and its chain of transmission is unknown. There is an article in the hadith of al-Harith.
