Hadith #29304
Ahmad bin Mani’ told us, Hushaym told us, Abu Bishr told us, on the authority of Sa’id bin Jubayr, on the authority of Ibn Abbas, in his saying: (And Be loud in your prayer, and do not be afraid in it, and seek a way between that.) He said: It was revealed while the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, was hidden in Mecca, and when he prayed With his companions, he raised his voice reciting the Qur’an, so when the polytheists heard him, they would curse the Qur’an, whoever sent it down, and whoever brought it. Then God said to his Prophet: (And do not recite your prayer out loud) that is, with your recitation lest the polytheists hear and curse the Qur’an: (And do not be afraid therein) from your companions. : (And seek a way between that.) This is a good and authentic hadith.
