Al-Hasan bin Ali Al-Khalal narrated to us, Abu Al-Walid Al-Tayalisi narrated to us, Abd Al-Aziz bin Abi Salamah narrated to us, and Yusuf bin Al-Majishun narrated to us, he said Abdul Aziz, my uncle told me, and he said, Yusuf, my father told me, Al-Araj told me, on the authority of Ubayd Allah bin Abi Rafi’, on the authority of Ali Ibn Abi Talib, that when the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, would stand up for prayer, he would say, “I turn my face to the One who created the heavens and the earth, upright and not I am of the polytheists. Indeed, my prayer, my sacrifice, my life, and my death belong to God, Lord of the worlds. He has no partner. And thus I have been commanded, and I am of the polytheists. Muslims, O God, You are the King, there is no god but You, You are my Lord, and I am Your servant. I wronged myself and confessed my sin, so forgive me all my sins. No one forgives sins except You. And guide me to the best of morals. No one guides me to the best of morals except You. And turn away from me the bad of it, and He will not turn away. The bad of it is far from me. Except You are up to You and Your happiness, and all good is in Your hands, and evil is not up to You. I am through You and to You are Blessed and exalted. I seek Your forgiveness. And I repent to You.” Then, when he bowed, he said, “O God, to You I kneel, and in You I believe, and to You I submit. My hearing, my sight, and my bones submit to You.” And my nerve. Then when he raised himself up, he said, “O God, our Lord, to Thee is praise, filling the heavens, filling the earth, filling what is between them, and filling whatever You will of anything.” After, “. Then when he prostrated, he said, “O God, to You I have prostrated, and in You I have believed, and to You I have submitted. My face has prostrated to the One who created it, so He formed it and made it heard.” And his sight, blessed be God, the best of creators.” Then he says, one of the last things he says between the tashahhud and the salaam, “O God, forgive me for what I have done.” And I have not delayed, and I have not concealed, and I have not announced, and I have not been extravagant, and you are more knowledgeable than me. You are the one who brings forward and you are the one who delays. There is no god. Except you.” He said, “This is a good and authentic hadith.”
