Jami' at-Tirmidhi — Hadith #29595

Qutaibah narrated to us, Al-Layth narrated to us, on the authority of Yazid bin Abi Habib, on the authority of Al-Harith bin Yaqoub, on the authority of Yaqoub bin Abdullah bin Al-Ashjaj, on the authority of Busr bin Saeed, on the authority of Saad bin Abi Waqqas, on the authority of Khawla bint Hakim al-Salamiyah, on the authority of the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, who said, “Whoever descends a house Then he said, “I seek refuge in the perfect words of God from the evil of what He created. Nothing will harm him until he departs from that abode of his.” He said, “This is a good hadith.” Sahih Gharib. Malik ibn Anas narrated this hadith that he reported to him on the authority of Yaqub ibn Abdullah ibn al-Ashjaj, and he mentioned something like this. The hadith. This hadith was narrated on the authority of Ibn Ajlan, on the authority of Yaqoub bin Abdullah bin Al-Ashjaj, and he said on the authority of Sa’id bin Al-Musayyab, on the authority of Khawla. He said, “The hadith of Al-Layth is more authentic than the narration of Ibn Ajlan.”
