حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ يَزِيدَ ، حَدَّثَنَا الْمَسْعُودِيُّ ، عَنْ أَبِي حَازِمٍ ، عَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ ، قَالَ : لَمَّا كَثُرَ النَّاسُ بِالْمَدِينَةِ ، جَعَلَ الرَّجُلُ يَجِيءُ وَالْقَوْمُ يَجِيئُونَ فَلَا يَكَادُونَ أَنْ يَسْمَعُونَ كَلَامَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ حَتَّى يَرْجِعُوا مِنْ عِنْدِهِ، فَقَالَ لَهُ النَّاسُ : يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ، إِنَّ النَّاسَ قَدْ كَثُرُوا، وَإِنَّ الْجَائِيَ يَجِيءُ فَلَا يَكَادُ يَسْمَعُ كَلَامَكَ.
قَالَ : " فَمَا شِئْتُمْ "، فَأَرْسِلْ إِلَى غُلَامٍ لِامْرَأَةٍ مِنْ الْأَنْصَارِ، نَجَّارٍ، وَإِلَى طَرْفَاءِ الْغَابَةِ، فَجَعَلُوا لَهُ مِرْقَاتَيْنِ أَوْ ثَلَاثَةً، فَكَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ" يَجْلِسُ عَلَيْهِ وَيَخْطُبُ عَلَيْهِ، فَلَمَّا فَعَلُوا ذَلِكَ حَنَّتِ الْخَشَبَةُ الَّتِي كَانَ يَقُومُ عِنْدَهَا، فَقَامَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِلَيْهَا فَوَضَعَ يَدَهُ عَلَيْهَا، فَسَكَنَتْ "
Abdullah bin Yazid narrated to us, Al-Masoudi narrated to us, on the authority of Abu Hazim, on the authority of Sahl bin Saad, he said: When the people increased in Medina, he made The man comes and the people come, but they can barely hear the words of the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, before they return from him. So the people said to him: O Messenger of God, the people have increased, and the one who is coming is coming and will hardly hear your words. He said: “Whatever you wish.” So he sent for a boy of an Ansar woman, a carpenter, and to the trees of the forest, and they made two or three leaves for him. So the Messenger of God prayed May God bless him and grant him peace. He sat on him and addressed him. When they did that, the tree by which he was standing bowed, so the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, stood up. May God grant her peace, and he placed his hand on her, and she remained calm.”
