Muhammad bin Bashar told us, Abd al-Ala told us, and Abu Dawud said, Hisham told us, on the authority of Yahya bin Abi Kathir, on the authority of Muhammad bin Ibrahim, that Abu Hurairah and Al-Sa’ib the reciter used to perform the two prostrations of forgetfulness before the salutation. Abu Issa said the hadith of Ibn Bahina It is a good and authentic hadith. This is acted upon according to some people of knowledge, and it is the opinion of Al-Shafi’i. He considers the prostration of forgetfulness to be performed entirely before the salutation, and he says This abrogates other hadiths and mentions that the last action of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, was this. Ahmad and Ishaq said, “If The man stood up in the two rak’ahs, so he should perform the two prostrations of forgetfulness before the salutation, according to the hadith of Ibn Buhaynah. And Abdullah Ibn Buhaynah is a servant. Allah bin Malik, who is the son of Buhayna Malik, his father, and Buhaynah, his mother. This is what Ishaq bin Mansour told me on the authority of Ali bin Abd. Allah ibn al-Madini. Abu Issa said, and the people of knowledge differed regarding the two prostrations of forgetfulness, when a man prostrates them before or after the salutation. Some of them thought that he should prostrate them after greeting them. This is the opinion of Sufyan al-Thawri and the people of Kufa. Some of them said that he should prostrate them He accepted Peace. This is the opinion of most of the jurists from the people of Medina, such as Yahya bin Sa’id, Rabi’ah and others, and Al-Shafi’i says it. Some of them said: If there is an increase in prayer, then after the salutation, and if there is a decrease in prayer, then before the salutation. This is the saying of Malik bin Anas. Ahmad said what was narrated on the authority of the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, regarding the two prostrations of forgetfulness, so each should use it according to his own discretion when he stands in the two rak’ahs, according to the hadith of Ibn Sometimes, he prostrates them before the salutation, and when he prays the noon prayer five times, then he prostrates them after the salutation, and when he says the salutation at The two rak'ahs of the noon and afternoon prayers, so he prostrates them after the salutation, and each one is used in its proper direction. And every oversight in it is not on the authority of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace. And he said the salutation of remembrance, for you prostrated forgetfulness before the salutation. And Ishaq said something similar to what Ahmad said regarding all of this, except that he said, “All An oversight in which there is no mention of the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, so if there is an increase in the prayer, he prostrates them after the salutation, and if it is a deficiency, he prostrates them before it. Peace be upon you
