Abu Hafs narrated to us, Amr bin Ali Al-Basri narrated to us, Abu Dawud Al-Tayalisi narrated to us, Zuhair bin Muawiyah narrated to us, on the authority of Abu Al-Zubayr, on the authority of Jabir said: We were with the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, on a journey, and rain fell upon us. He said, and on the authority of Ibn Umar, Samurah, and Abu al-Malih, on the authority of his father, and Abd al-Rahman bin Samurah. Abu Issa said, a Jabir hadith. It is a good and authentic hadith. The scholars have permitted abstention from congregational prayer and Friday prayer in the rain and mud, and this is what Ahmad and Ishaq say. . Abu Issa said: I heard Abu Zur’ah say: Affan bin Muslim narrated a hadith on the authority of Amr bin Ali. And Abu Zur’ah said: We did not see Basra. The best memorizer of these three is Ali bin Al-Madini, Ibn Al-Shadhakuni, and Amr bin Ali. Abu Al-Malih’s name is Amer and his name is Zaid. Bin Osama bin Umair Al-Hudhali.
