Jami' at-Tirmidhi — Hadith #26772

Abdullah bin Abi Ziyad Al-Qatwani Al-Kufi narrated to us, Ubayd Allah bin Musa narrated to us, Ghaleb Abu Bishr narrated to us, on the authority of Ayyub bin Aidh. Al-Ta’i, on the authority of Qays ibn Muslim, on the authority of Tariq ibn Shihab, on the authority of Ka’b ibn Ujrah, he said: The Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, said to me, “I seek refuge with you.” By God, O Ka'b bin Ujrah, there are princes who will be after me. So whoever deceives their doors, believes them in their lies, and helps them in their oppression, is not Of me, and I am not of him, and he does not come to the basin. And whoever conceals their doors, or does not deceive, does not believe them in their lies and does not help them in their Their injustice is from me, and I am from it, and it will return to the basin, O Ka'b bin Ajrah. Prayer is proof, fasting is a strong shield, and charity extinguishes “Sin is just as water extinguishes fire. O Ka’b ibn Ujrah, no flesh grown from unclean food grows except that fire would have been more deserving of it.” Abu Issa said: This is a good and strange hadith from this perspective. We do not know it except from the hadith of Ubayd Allah ibn Musa and Ayyub ibn Aidh al-Tai. It is weakened and it is said that he saw the view of postponement.
