Muhammad ibn Abd al-Malik ibn Abi al-Shawareb narrated to us, Yazid ibn Zurayi narrated to us, Muammar narrated to us, on the authority of al-Zuhri, on the authority of Urwa, on the authority of Aisha, that she said the sun eclipsed during the time of the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, so the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, led the people in prayer and he prolonged the recitation. Then he bowed and prolonged the bowing, then he raised his head and prolonged the recitation, and it was shorter than the first. Then he kneeled, and prolonged the bowing, and it was shorter than the first, then he raised He raised his head and prostrated, then he did the same in the second rak’ah. Abu Issa said: This is a good and authentic hadith. And with this hadith he says Al-Shafi’i, Ahmad, and Ishaq consider the eclipse prayer to be four rak’ahs with four prostrations. Al-Shafi’i said that in the first rak’ah, Umm The Qur’an and something like Surat Al-Baqarah secretly if it was during the day, then he bowed for a long time to recite it, then he raised his head He shouted “Allahu Akbar” and remained standing as he was, and he also recited “Umm Al-Qur’an” and something from the family of Imran, then he bowed for a long time as he recited it, then he rose. He raised his head and said, “Allah hears those who praise Him.” Then he prostrated two complete prostrations, and performed the same way in each prostration as he did in He bowed, then he got up and recited the Umm al-Qur’an and something like Surat An-Nisa, then he bowed for a long time in the manner of his recitation, then he raised his head with greatness. He remained standing, then recited part of Surah Al-Ma’idah, then bowed for a long time as part of his recitation, then he rose and said, “He heard.” “Allah belongs to whoever praises Him.” Then he prostrated two prostrations, then he recited the tashahhud and said the salutations.
