Abu Salamah told us, Yahya bin Khalaf Al-Basri told us, Bishr bin Al-Mufaddal told us, on the authority of Khalid Al-Hadha, on the authority of Abd Al-Rahman bin Abi Bakra, On the authority of his father, the Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, said, “A month of Eid that does not diminish, Ramadan and Dhul-Hijjah.” Abu Issa said the hadith of my father. Tomorrow is a good hadith. This hadith was narrated on the authority of Abd al-Rahman bin Abi Bakra, on the authority of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, as a mursal. Ahmad said, meaning This hadith, “The two months of Eid will never diminish.” It says that the month of Ramadan and Dhul-Hijjah will not diminish together in one year. One of them completes the other. And Isaac said, “It does not decrease.” He says, “And if there are twenty-nine, then it is complete without any decrease.” And on the other hand, According to the doctrine of Isaac, two months are reduced together in one year.
