Jami' at-Tirmidhi — Hadith #28202

Mahmoud bin Ghaylan narrated to us, he said, Abu Dawud narrated to us, on the authority of Shu’bah, on the authority of Al-A’mash, he said, I heard Abu Salih, on the authority of Abu Hurairah, that the Messenger God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, said: “Whoever kills himself with an iron, his iron will be in his hand, and he will stab himself with it in his stomach in the fire of Hell, abiding and immortal.” And whoever kills himself with poison, his poison is in his hand, he will taste it in the fire of Hell, abiding therein forever. And whoever falls from a mountain and is killed himself, so he will return to the fire of Hell, abiding therein forever.” Muhammad Ibn Al-Ala told us, Waki’ and Abu told us. Muawiyah, on the authority of Al-A’mash, on the authority of Abu Salih, on the authority of Abu Hurairah, on the authority of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, similar to the hadith of Shu’bah on the authority of Al-A’mash. Abu Issa said this. An authentic hadith, and it is more correct than the first hadith. Thus, more than one person narrated this hadith, on the authority of Al-A’mash, on the authority of Abu Salih, on the authority of Abu Huraira, on the authority of the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him. And Muhammad bin Ajlan narrated on the authority of Sa’id al-Maqbari, on the authority of Abu Huraira, on the authority of the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, who said: “Whoever kills himself “With poison he was tormented in the fire of hell.” And he was not mentioned as abiding therein forever. And this is how it was narrated by Abu Al-Zinad, on the authority of Al-Araj, on the authority of Abu Hurairah, on the authority of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, and this is more correct because the narrations only state that the people of monotheism are tortured in the Fire and then They will be expelled from it, but it is not mentioned that they will remain therein forever.
