Hadith #28259
Al-Ansari narrated to us, Ma’an narrated to us, he said Malik narrated to us, on the authority of Ibn Shihab, on the authority of Uthman bin Ishaq bin Kharsha, on the authority of Qubaisa bin Dhu’ayb, he said, “The grandmother came to Abu Bakr asking him about her inheritance.” He said, “You have nothing in the Book of God, and you have nothing in the Sunnah of the Messenger of God.” God bless May God bless him and grant him peace, something, so go back so I can ask the people. He asked the people, and he said: Al-Mughirah bin Shu’bah attended the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, and he gave her a sixth. He said: Abu Bakr, is anyone else with you? Then Muhammad bin Maslamah Al-Ansari stood up and said the same as what Al-Mughirah bin Shu’bah said. So Abu Bakr gave it to her. He said: Then the other grandmother came to Omar bin Al-Khattab asking him about her inheritance. He said: What do you have in the Book of God? Nothing, but it is that sixth, so if you come together in it, it is between you, and whichever of you is alone with it, then it is hers. Abu Issa said, and in the chapter on the authority of Buraydah. This is better and more authentic than the hadith of Ibn Uyaynah.
