Hadith #29203
Ahmad bin Mani` told us, Yazid bin Harun told us, Muhammad bin Ishaq told us, on the authority of Abu al-Zinad, on the authority of al-Araj, on the authority of Abu Hurairah, He said: The Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, said: “The right hand of the Most Gracious is full of water that cannot be changed by day or night.” He said, “Have you seen what He has spent since He created the heavens and the earth, for He did not lower what is in His right hand, and His throne is on the water, and in His other hand is the scales, which He raises and lowers.” Abu said. Jesus, this is a good and authentic hadith. And this hadith in the interpretation of this verse: (And the Jews said, “The hand of God is bound, bound.” Their hands And they were cursed for what they said. Rather, His hands are spread out. He spends as He pleases.) And this is a hadith that was narrated by the Imams. We believe in it as it came without being explained. Or is he delusional? This is what more than one of the imams said, including Al-Thawri, Malik bin Anas, Ibn Uyaynah, and Ibn Al-Mubarak. These things are told and believed, but it is not said how.
