Jami' at-Tirmidhi — Hadith #29274

Al-Hussein bin Harith Al-Khuza’i Al-Maruzi narrated to us, Al-Fadl bin Musa narrated to us, on the authority of Muhammad bin Amr, on the authority of Abu Salamah, on the authority of Abu Hurairah, He said: The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said, “Indeed, Al-Karim bin Al-Karim bin Al-Karim bin Al-Karim is Yusuf bin Yaqoub bin Ishaq bin Abraham said, “Even if I had remained in prison for a period of time, and then the Messenger came to me, I would have responded.” Then he recited: (So when the Messenger came to him, he said, “Return to Your Lord, then ask Him what happened to the women who cut off their hands.) He said: And God’s mercy be upon Lot if he sought shelter in a deep corner. When he said: (If only I had strength over you or could take refuge in a harsh corner) then God did not send a prophet after him except among a number of his people. “Abu Kurayb told us, Abdah and Abd al-Rahim told us, on the authority of Muhammad ibn Amr, similar to the hadith of al-Fadl ibn Musa, except that he said “What “God sent a prophet after him, except for the wealth of his people.” Muhammad ibn Amr said, “Wealth is abundant and invincible.” Abu Issa said. This is more correct than the narration of Al-Fadl bin Musa, and this is a hasan hadith.
