Jami' at-Tirmidhi — Hadith #29382

They said, “We used to say, ‘A great man will die or a great man will be born.’” Then the Messenger of God said, God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, said: “It is not to be thrown at him for the death of anyone nor for his life, but when our Lord, the Mighty and Majestic, has decided a matter, those who bear it will glorify Him.” Throne, then the people of heaven glorified those next to them, then those next to them, until the praise reaches this heaven, then the people of heaven asked The sixth: The inhabitants of the seventh heaven: What did your Lord say? He said: Then they will inform them. Then the inhabitants of every heaven will inquire until it reaches The news is from the people of the lowest heaven, and the devils snatch away the hearing and throw it away to their guardians. So whatever they brought on its face is True, but they distort and add more.” Abu Issa said: This is a hasan and authentic hadith. This hadith was narrated, on the authority of Al-Zuhri, on the authority of Ali bin Al-Hussein, on the authority of Ibn Abbas, on the authority of men from the Ansar, may God be pleased with them, who said: We were with the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace. Al-Awza’i narrated on the authority of Al-Zuhri On the authority of Ubayd Allah, on the authority of Ibn Abbas, on the authority of men from the Ansar who said, “We were with the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace.” So he mentioned something similar to it. In other words, Al-Hussein bin Harith narrated to us, Al-Walid bin Muslim narrated to us, Al-Awza’i narrated to us.
