Jami' at-Tirmidhi — Hadith #29450

Abu Kurayb narrated to us, Abdah bin Sulaiman and Abd al-Rahim bin Sulaiman narrated to us, on the authority of Muhammad bin Amr, Abu Salama narrated to us, on the authority of Abu Kitten, the Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, said, “God says, ‘I have prepared for My righteous servants what no eye has seen and no ear has heard. It has not entered the heart of mankind. Recite, if you wish: (And no soul knows what has been hidden from them of the comfort of eyes as a recompense for what they used to do.) ) And in Paradise there is a tree in whose shade the rider will travel for a hundred years without cutting it. And recite, if you wish: (and an extended shadow) and the place of a whip. In Paradise is better than the world and what is in it. And recite, if you wish: (So whoever is saved from the Fire and admitted to Paradise has indeed achieved success, and what is life? This world is nothing but the enjoyment of delusion.” Abu Issa said: This is a good and authentic hadith.
