Jami' at-Tirmidhi — Hadith #26419

Ali bin Hajar told us, Issa bin Yunus told us, on the authority of Ibn Abi Dhib, on the authority of Ishaq bin Yazid al-Hudhali, on the authority of Awn bin Abd Allah bin Utbah, on the authority of Ibn Masoud, that the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, said: “If one of you kneels and says during his bowing, Glory be to my Lord the Great, Several times, he has completed his bowing, and that is below. And when he prostrates, he says in his prostration, “Glory be to my Lord, the Most High” three times, then his prostration has been completed, and that is Below: “He said, in this chapter, on the authority of Hudhayfah and Uqba bin Amir. Abu Issa said: The hadith of Ibn Masoud is not connected to its chain of narration. Aoun bin Abdullah bin Utbah did not meet Ibn Masoud. This is acted upon according to the people of knowledge. They recommend that the man does not diminish In bowing and prostrating, there are three tasbihs. It was narrated on the authority of Abdullah bin Al-Mubarak that he said: Is it desirable for the imam to say five tasbihs? Three praises so that those behind him may catch up with him. And so said Ishaq ibn Ibrahim.
