Muhammad bin Yahya Al-Naysaburi told us, Muhammad bin Abdullah Al-Ansari told us, he said: Ash’ath told me, on the authority of Ibn Sirin, on the authority of Khalid Al-Hudha’, on the authority of Abu Qilaba, on the authority of Abu Al-Muhallab, on the authority of Imran bin Husayn, that the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, prayed with them, but he broke them and prostrated. He prostrated two times, then he recited the tashahhud, then he gave the salutation. Abu Issa said: This is a hasan ghareeb hadith. Muhammad ibn Sirin narrated on the authority of Abu al-Muhallab, who was the uncle of Abu Qilabah other than this hadith. Muhammad narrated this hadith on the authority of Khaled Al-Hadha’ on the authority of Abu Qilabah on the authority of Abu Al-Muhallab. And Abu Al-Muhallab’s name is Abd al-Rahman bin Amr, and he is also called Muawiyah bin Amr. It was narrated by Abd al-Wahhab al-Thaqafi, Hushaym and more than one person. This hadith is on the authority of Khalid al-Hadha, on the authority of Abu Qilabah, in length, and it is the hadith of Imran bin Husayn that the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, greeted in Three rak'ahs of Asr, then a man called Al-Kharbaq stood up. The people of knowledge differed regarding the tashahhud in the two prostrations of forgetfulness, and some of them said: He recites the tashahhud and salutations in them. Some of them said that there is no reciting the tashahhud or salutations in them, and if he prostrates them before the salaam, he does not recite the tashahhud. The saying of Ahmad and Ishaq: They said, “If he performs the two prostrations of forgetfulness before the salutation, he will not recite the tashahhud.”
