Jami' at-Tirmidhi — Hadith #26950

Harun bin Ishaq Al-Hamdani told us, Abdah bin Sulayman told us, on the authority of Hisham bin Urwa, on the authority of his father, on the authority of Aisha, she said The Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, used to come forward during the last ten nights of Ramadan and say, “Seek Laylat al-Qadr in the last ten nights of Ramadan.” “.And in this chapter, on the authority of Omar, Ubayy, Jabir bin Samurah, Jabir bin Abdullah, Ibn Omar, Al-Faltan bin Asim, Anas, and Abi Saeed And Abdullah bin Unais, Abu Bakra, Ibn Abbas, Bilal, and Ubadah bin Al-Samit. Abu Issa said the hadith of Aisha is a good and authentic hadith. And its saying “to be in seclusion” means to seclude. Most of the narrations from the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, are that he said, “Seek it in the last ten days of every night.” Witr. “It was narrated on the authority of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, regarding Laylat al-Qadr that it is the night of the twenty-first and the night of the twenty-third. “And the twenty-fifth, twenty-seventh, twenty-nine, and the last night of Ramadan.” Abu Issa said. Al-Shafi’i said, “As if this is with me.” And God knows that the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, used to answer something in the form of what he was asked about. He would be told, “We will seek it on such-and-such a night,” and he would say: Seek it on such and such a night. Al-Shafi’i said, and the strongest narrations I have regarding it are the night of the twenty-first. Abu Issa said, and it was narrated on the authority of Ubayy ibn Ka'b said that he used to swear that it was the night of the twenty-seventh. He said: The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, informed us of its sign. So we counted and preserved. It was narrated on the authority of Abu Qilaba that he said, “Laylat al-Qadr” moves in the last ten nights. Abd ibn told us about that.
