Jami' at-Tirmidhi — Hadith #28491

Mahmoud bin Ghaylan told us, Abu Ahmad told us, Sufyan told us, on the authority of Laith, on the authority of Mujahid, on the authority of Ibn Umar, he said the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, took He greeted me by the shoulder and said, “Be in this world as if you were a stranger or a wayfarer, and count yourself among the people of the graves.” Then Ibn Umar said to me: When you wake up, do not talk to yourself in the evening, and when you come in the evening, do not talk to yourself in the morning, and take care of your health before you get sick and Your life before your death, for you do not know, O Abdullah, what your name will be tomorrow.” Abu Issa said, and he narrated this hadith, on the authority of Mujahid on the authority of Ibn Omar is similar to him. Ahmad bin Abdah al-Dhabi al-Basri narrated to us, Hammad bin Zayd narrated to us, on the authority of Laith, on the authority of Mujahid, on the authority of Ibn Omar, on the authority of The Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, did the same
