Jami' at-Tirmidhi — Hadith #29335

Abd bin Humaid told us, Ruh bin Ubadah told us, on the authority of Ubayd Allah bin Al-Akhnas, Amr bin Shuaib told me, on the authority of his father, on the authority of His grandfather, he said, “There was a man called Marthad bin Abi Marthad, and he was a man who carried prisoners from Mecca until he brought them to Medina. He said, and it was A prostitute in Mecca was called Anak, and she was a friend of his, and he had promised a man from the captives of Mecca that he would carry him. He said, “I came until I finished.” To the shadow of one of the walls of Mecca on a moonlit night. He said, Anak came and saw the blackness of my shadow next to the wall. When She came to know him and said, “Marthad.” I said, “Marthad.” She said, “Hello, welcome. Come and stay with us tonight.” He said, “Anak.” God forbade adultery. She said, “O people of tents, this man is carrying your prisoners.” He said, “Then eight followed me, and I took the lead.” So I ended up at a cave or cave, so I entered, and they came until they stood on my head, and they urinated, and their urine fell on my head, and God blinded them from me. He said: Then they returned, and I returned to my friend, and I carried him, and he was a heavy man, until I reached Idhikhar, so I untied him and made I carried him and he helped me until I came to Medina and came to the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, and I said, O Messenger of God, I will marry an anak twice, so the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, stopped. peace be upon him, and he did not respond to me at all until I revealed: (The adulterer shall not marry anyone except an adulteress or a polytheist, and the adulteress shall not No one may marry her except an adulterer or a polytheist, and that is forbidden to the believers.) Then the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said, “O Marthad of the adulterer, he does not marry anyone but an adulteress.” Or a polytheist, and no one can marry an adulteress except an adulterer or a polytheist, so do not marry her.” Abu Issa said, “This is a good and strange hadith.” We know him only from this perspective.
