Jami' at-Tirmidhi — Hadith #29410

Abdullah bin Humaid told us, Amr bin Asim told us, Ubayd Allah bin Al-Wazi’ told us, a sheikh from Banu Murra told me, he said I came to Kufa. So I was informed about Bilal ibn Abi Burdah, and I said that there was someone who was considered to be among him, so I went to him while he was imprisoned in his house that he had built. He said And behold, everything about him had changed from the torture and beating, and behold, he was in straw, so I said, Praise be to God, O Bilal, I saw you passing by. With us, you hold your nose free of dust while you are in your condition today.
