Hadith #29645
We talked about Muhammad ibn Bashar, we talked about Sahl ibn Yusuf, we talked about Hamid, about the steadfastness of the Lebanese, about Anas ibn Malik, that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) returned a man who had worked hard until he became like a chick and said to him, "Did you not pray or were you asking your Lord who is healthy?" I say to Allah, what you were punished with in the Hereafter, so hasten it to me in this world. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said,"Glory be to Allaah, You will not be able to endure it - or you will not be able to do it, would you not say, 'O Allah, we came in this world with goodness, and in the afterlife with goodness, and we were saved from the torment of the fire?'" Issa, this is a good event. It is true, which is strange from this point of view. It has been narrated from other than one's face by the Prophet, may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him.
