Ash-Shama'il Al-Muhammadiyah # 45/321
Abdullah ibn al-Shikh-khir (RA)
حَدَّثَنَا سُوَيْدُ بْنُ نَصْرٍ، قَالَ‏:‏ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ الْمُبَارِكِ، عَنْ حَمَّادِ بْنِ سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ ثَابِتٍ، عَنْ مُطَرِّفٍ وَهُوَ ابْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ الشِّخِّيرِ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، قَالَ‏:‏ أَتَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم وَهُوَ يُصَلِّي، وَلِجَوْفِهِ أَزِيزٌ كَأَزِيزِ الْمِرْجَلِ مِنَ الْبُكَاءِ‏.‏
Suwayd bin Nasr told us, he said: Abdullah bin Al-Mubarak told us, on the authority of Hammad bin Salamah, on the authority of Thabit, on the authority of Mutarrif, who is the son of Abdullah Ibn Al-Shakhir, on the authority of his father, said: I came to the Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, while he was praying, and his insides felt a buzzing like the buzzing of a cauldron from crying.

Abdullah Bin Mas'ud
حَدَّثَنَا مَحْمُودُ بْنُ غَيْلانَ، قَالَ‏:‏ حَدَّثَنَا مُعَاوِيَةُ بْنُ هِشَامٍ، قَالَ‏:‏ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنِ الأَعْمَشِ، عَنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، عَنْ عُبَيْدَةَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ مَسْعُودٍ، قَالَ‏:‏ قَالَ لِي رَسُولُ اللهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم‏:‏ اقْرَأْ عَلَيَّ فَقُلْتُ‏:‏ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، أَقَرَأُ عَلَيْكَ وَعَلَيْكَ أُنْزِلَ، قَالَ‏:‏ إِنِّي أُحِبُّ أَنْ أَسْمَعَهُ مِنْ غَيْرِي، فَقَرَأْتُ سُورَةَ النِّسَاءِ، حَتَّى بَلَغْتُ وَجِئِنَا بِكَ عَلَى هَؤُلاءِ شَهِيدًا، قَالَ‏:‏ فَرَأَيْتُ عَيْنَيْ رَسُولِ اللهِ تَهْمِلانِ‏.‏

Abdullah ibn Uamr (RA)
حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ، قَالَ‏:‏ حَدَّثَنَا جَرِيرٌ، عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ السَّائِبِ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو، قَالَ‏:‏ انْكسفَتِ الشَّمْسُ يَوْمًا عَلَى عَهْدِ رَسُولِ اللهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم، فَقَامَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم يُصَلِّي، حَتَّى لَمْ يَكَدْ يَرْكَعُ ثُمَّ رَكَعَ، فَلَمْ يَكَدْ يَرْفَعُ رَأْسَهُ، ثُمَّ رَفَعَ رَأْسَهُ، فَلَمْ يَكَدْ أَنْ يَسْجُدَ، ثُمَّ سَجَدَ فَلَمْ يَكَدْ أَنْ يَرْفَعَ رَأْسَهُ، ثُمَّ رَفَعَ رَأْسَهُ، فَلَمْ يَكَدْ أَنْ يَسْجُدَ، ثُمَّ سَجَدَ فَلَمْ يَكَدْ أَنْ يَرْفَعَ رَأْسَهُ، فَجَعَلَ يَنْفُخُ وَيَبْكِي، وَيَقُولُ‏:‏ رَبِّ أَلَمْ تَعِدْنِي أَنْ لا تُعَذِّبَهُمْ وَأَنَا فِيهِمْ‏؟‏ رَبِّ أَلَمْ تَعِدْنِي أَنْ لا تُعَذِّبَهُمْ وَهُمْ يَسْتَغْفِرُونَ‏؟‏ وَنَحْنُ نَسْتَغْفِرُكَ فَلَمَّا صَلَّى رَكْعَتَيْنِ انْجَلَتِ الشَّمْسُ، فَقَامَ فَحَمِدَ اللَّهَ تَعَالَى، وَأَثْنَى عَلَيْهِ، ثُمَّ قَالَ‏:‏ إِنَّ الشَّمْسَ وَالْقَمَرَ آيَتَانِ مِنْ آيَاتِ اللهِ لا يَنْكَسِفَانِ لِمَوْتِ أَحَدٍ وَلا لِحَيَاتِهِ، فَإِذَا انْكَسَفَا، فَافْزَعُوا إِلَى ذِكْرِ اللهِ تَعَالَى‏.‏
Qutaibah told us, he said: Jarir told us, on the authority of Ata’ ibn al-Sa’ib, on the authority of his father, on the authority of Abdullah ibn Amr, he said: One day the sun was eclipsed During the time of the Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, the Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, stood up and prayed until he had hardly bowed. Then he bowed, but he had hardly His head, then he raised his head, but could hardly prostrate. Then he prostrated, but could hardly raise his head. So when he prayed two rak'ahs, the sun rose, and he got up and thanked God Almighty. He praised him, then said: The sun and the moon are two of the signs of God. They are not eclipsed by the death or life of anyone, so if They were upset, so rush to the remembrance of God Almighty.

Ibn Abbas (RA)
حَدَّثَنَا مَحْمُودُ بْنُ غَيْلانَ، قَالَ‏:‏ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو أَحْمَدَ، قَالَ‏:‏ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ السَّائِبِ، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، قَالَ‏:‏ أَخَذَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم ابْنَةً لَهُ تَقْضِي فَاحْتَضَنَهَا فَوَضَعَهَا بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ، فَمَاتَتْ وَهِيَ بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ وَصَاحَتْ أُمُّ أَيْمَنَ، فَقَالَ يَعْنِي صلى الله عليه وسلم‏:‏ أَتَبْكِينَ عِنْدَ رَسُولِ اللهِ‏؟‏ فَقَالَتْ‏:‏ أَلَسْتُ أَرَاكَ تَبْكِي‏؟‏ قَالَ‏:‏ إِنِّي لَسْتُ أَبْكِي، إِنَّمَا هِيَ رَحْمَةٌ، إِنَّ الْمُؤْمِنَ بِكُلِّ خَيْرٍ عَلَى كُلِّ حَالٍ، إِنَّ نَفْسَهُ تُنْزَعُ مِنْ بَيْنِ جَنْبَيْهِ، وَهُوَ يَحْمَدُ اللَّهَ تعالى ‏.‏
Mahmoud bin Ghaylan narrated to us, he said: Abu Ahmad narrated to us, he said: Sufyan narrated to us, on the authority of Ata’ bin Al-Sa’ib, on the authority of Ikrimah, on the authority of Ibn Abbas said: The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, took a daughter of his to judge, and he embraced her and placed her in his hands. She died in his hands and cried. Umm Ayman, and he said, meaning, may God bless him and grant him peace: Are you crying with the Messenger of God? She said: Don’t I see you crying? He said: I am not crying, it is just her. Mercy, the believer is in all goodness in every situation, his soul is removed from between his two sides, and he praises God Almighty.

Aisha (RA)
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ، قَالَ‏:‏ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ مَهْدِيٍّ، قَالَ‏:‏ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ عَاصِمِ بْنِ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ، عَنِ الْقَاسِمِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم، قَبَّلَ عُثْمَانَ بْنَ مَظْعُونٍ وَهُوَ مَيِّتٌ وَهُوَ يَبْكِي أَوْ قَالَ‏:‏ عَيْنَاهُ تَهْرَاقَانِ‏.‏
Muhammad bin Bashar told us, he said: Abdul Rahman bin Mahdi told us, he said: Sufyan told us, on the authority of Asim bin Ubaid Allah, on the authority of Al-Qasim Bin Muhammad, on the authority of Aisha, that the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, kissed Uthman bin Mad’un when he was dead and he was crying, or he said: His eyes .

Anas ibn Malik (RA)
حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ، قَالَ‏:‏ أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَامِرٍ، قَالَ‏:‏ حَدَّثَنَا فُلَيْحٌ وَهُوَ ابْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ، عَنْ هِلالِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ، قَالَ‏:‏ شَهِدْنَا ابْنَةً لِرَسُولِ اللهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم، وَرَسُولُ اللهِ جَالِسٌ عَلَى الْقَبْرِ، فَرَأَيْتُ عَيْيَنْهِ تَدمَعَانِ، فَقَالَ‏:‏ أَفِيكُمْ رَجُلٌ لَمْ يُقَارِفِ اللَّيْلَةَ‏؟‏، قَالَ أَبُو طَلْحَةَ‏:‏ أَنَا، قَالَ‏:‏ انْزِلْ فَنَزَلَ فِي قَبْرِهَا‏.‏
Ishaq bin Mansour told us, he said: Abu Amer told us, he said: Falayh, who is Ibn Sulayman, told us, on the authority of Hilal bin Ali, on the authority of Anas bin Malik said: We witnessed a daughter of the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, and the Messenger of God was sitting on the grave, and I saw his eyes filling with tears, so he said: Is there a man among you who did not spend the night tonight? Abu Talha said: I do. He said: Go down, and he went down into her grave.
