Hadith #26170
Ali bin Hajar told us, a partner told us, on the authority of Al-Miqdam bin Shurayh, on the authority of his father, on the authority of Aisha, she said: Who told you that the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace He used to urinate while standing, so do not believe him. He only urinated while sitting. He said: On the authority of Omar, Buraidah, and Abd al-Rahman ibn Good. Abu Issa said the hadith of Aisha is the best and most correct thing in this matter. And the hadith of Omar was only narrated from the hadith of Abdul Karim. Ibn Abi Al-Mukhariq, on the authority of Nafi’, on the authority of Ibn Omar, on the authority of Omar, said: The Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, saw me while I was urinating, standing up, so he said, “O Umar, do not urinate.” “Standing.” And I have not urinated yet. Abu Issa said, “This hadith was narrated only by Abd al-Karim ibn Abi al-Mukhariq, and it is weak according to Ahl al-Hadith, Ayyub al-Sakhtiyani weakened it and spoke about it. Ubayd Allah narrated on the authority of Nafi` on the authority of Ibn Umar, who said, Umar, may God be pleased with him, said: I have been standing ever since I embraced Islam. This is more correct than the hadith of Abd al-Karim and the hadith of Buraydah in this matter is not preserved. And the meaning of the prohibition on Urinating is based on discipline, not on prohibition. It was narrated on the authority of Abdullah bin Masoud, who said that it is immoral to urinate while standing. .
