Jami' at-Tirmidhi — Hadith #26258

Muhammad bin Bashar told us, Yahya bin Saeed Al-Qattan told us, on the authority of Suleiman Al-Taymi, on the authority of Bakr bin Abdullah Al-Muzani, on the authority of Al-Hasan, On the authority of Ibn al-Mughirah ibn Shu`bah, on the authority of his father, he said: The Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, performed ablution and wiped over his socks and turban. He does not wipe over the turban unless he wipes his head with the turban. This is the saying of Sufyan Al-Thawri and Malik bin Anas. And Ibn Al-Mubarak and Al-Shafi’i.
