Qutaibah told us, Abu Awanah told us, on the authority of Qatada, on the authority of Anas, he said: The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, and Abu Bakr, Omar, and Uthman They begin the recitation with (Praise be to God, Lord of the Worlds). Abu Issa said: This is a good and authentic hadith. This is acted upon according to the people of Knowledgeable among the Companions of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, and the Followers, and those after them, used to begin the recitation with (Praise be to God, Lord of the Worlds). He said. Al-Shafi’i: The meaning of this hadith is that the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, Abu Bakr, Omar, and Othman used to open Reciting with (Praise be to God, Lord of the Worlds) means that they were starting to recite the Fatihah of the Book before the surah, and it does not mean Because they did not recite (In the Name of God, Most Gracious, Most Merciful). Al-Shafi’i was of the opinion that it should begin with (In the Name of God, Most Gracious, Most Merciful). The Most Gracious, the Most Merciful) and to recite it aloud when reciting aloud.
