This hadith was narrated, on the authority of Ibrahim bin Tahman, with this chain of transmission, except that it says on the authority of Imran bin Husayn, who said: I asked the Messenger God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, said about the sick person’s prayer, and he said, “Pray standing, and if you are not able, then sitting, and if you are not able, then on your side.” He told us. With that, Hanad and Wakī’ narrated to us on the authority of Ibrahim bin Tahman on the authority of Husayn al-Mu’allim with this hadith. Abu Issa said, “We do not know anyone.” He narrated on the authority of Hussein Al-Muallem, similar to the narration of Ibrahim bin Tahman. Abu Usama and more than one person narrated on the authority of Hussein Al-Muallem, similar to the narration of A novel Isa bin Yunus. The meaning of this hadith, according to some people of knowledge, is in the voluntary prayer. Muhammad bin Bashar told us, Ibn Abi told us. Adiyy, on the authority of Ash’ath ibn Abd al-Malik, on the authority of Al-Hasan, said: If a man wishes, he may perform the voluntary prayer standing, sitting, or lying down. And they differed. The people of knowledge regarding the sick person’s prayer if he is unable to pray sitting, and some of the people of knowledge said that he prays on his right side. And he said. Some of them pray lying on their backs and their feet facing the Qiblah. Sufyan al-Thawri said in this hadith: “Whoever prays sitting has the right to pray.” Half the reward of the one who performs prayers. He said this for the healthy person and for the one who has no excuse. This means in the voluntary prayers, as for the one who has an excuse such as illness or Someone else prayed while sitting, and he will have the same reward as someone standing. It was narrated in some of this hadith, such as the words of Sufyan al-Thawri.
