Sunan ad-Darimi — Hadith #54200

Abu Al-Walid Al-Tayalisi told us, Hammam told us, Ishaq bin Abdullah told us, on the authority of Ali bin Yahya bin Khallad, on the authority of his father On the authority of his uncle Rifa’ah bin Rafi’, and Rifa’ah and Malik were the sons of Rafi’, two brothers from the people of Badr. Hammam became suspicious, when a man entered and faced him. The Qiblah and he prayed, and when he finished the prayer, he came and greeted the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, and the people, and the Messenger of God said: God, may God bless him and grant him peace: “And you must go back and pray, for you have not prayed.” So the man came back and prayed, and we began to look at his prayer, not knowing what was wrong with it. When he finished his prayer, he came and greeted the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace. And upon the people, and the Prophet said to him May God’s prayers and peace be upon him: “And you must go back and pray, for you have not prayed.” Hammam said: I do not know whether he ordered him to do that two or three times. The man said: I did not pray, so I do not know what you did to me regarding my prayer. Then the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: “The prayer is not complete.” One of you until he performs the ablution as God commanded him, then he washes his face and his hands up to the elbows, and wipes his head and feet up to the elbows. ankles, then he says “Allahu Akbar” and praises Him, then he recites from the Qur’an what God has permitted him to do, then he says “Allahu Akbar” and kneels, placing his palms on his knees until his joints are reassured and relaxed, and he says: God hears whoever praises Him, so he stands upright until his core is straightened, and he takes all of The bone of his socket, then he says “Allahu Akbar” and prostrates, bowing his face. Hammam said: And he may have said: “Put his forehead off the ground so that his joints are at ease.” He relaxed, then he said “Allahu Akbar” and sat straight on his seat and straightened his back. He described the prayer like this, four rak’ahs until he finished, without completing it. The prayer of one of you until he does that.”
